About
Some complain that rose bushes have thorns,
I rejoice that thorn bushes have roses. -Alphonse Karr

Beth currently provides psychotherapy as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She works primarily with adolescents, older children, parents, families and young adults. With a neurodiversity-affirming mindset, Beth uses evidence-based interventions: CBT, DBT, ACT and especially Positive Psychology, which focuses first on "what's right with you".
With a background in School Counseling, Beth has a special passion working with school motivation or academic and learning issues, to guide students to leverage their strengths toward their academic and career goals.
Developing students' Executive Function skills is key to managing life more successfully with ADHD or organizational challenges. Beth also works with college students who need support transitioning into and persisting in college and beyond.
Beth is an optimist, a glass-half full person and has unlimited patience, while also striving to make rapid progress so her clients can get on with their lives!
